Minnesota Urology Physicians Named Rising Stars for 2024
Minnesota Urology is pleased to announce that three physicians have been named as Rising Stars for Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s 2024 Top Doctors: Rising Stars Edition.
This honor is not easily earned. The selection process for the Rising Stars Award is rigorous and comprehensive. It begins with a nomination from a fellow doctor, based on whether they would trust the nominee with their own care or the care of a loved one. The nominees are then evaluated based on their professional achievements, peer recognition, and disciplinary history. Finally, they are invited to participate in a panel evaluation with other nominees. This process ensures that only the most deserving physicians are recognized.
The recipients of the 2024 Top Doctors: Rising Stars awards are –
- Dr. Andrew Bergersen – Dr. Bergersen is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he also completed his residency. His clinical interests include BPH management, robotic surgery, treatment of kidney, ureteral, and bladder stones, and vasectomy.
- Dr. Spencer Hart – Dr. Hart attended medical school at Loyola University, where he stayed to complete his residency. He has special interests in robotic surgery, urinary stone disease, urologic cancers, and minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of BPH.
- Dr. Joseph Thomas Mahon – Dr. Mahon received his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed his residency there as well. He received advanced training in Genitourinary Reconstruction and Men’s Health at Loyola University. He has a special interest in Men’s Health, reconstructive surgery, sexual medicine, BPH, urethral strictures, and male urinary incontinence.
Congratulations, Dr. Bergersen, Dr. Hart, and Dr. Mahon on your achievement!
